A new chapter for Altitude Málaga as family entertainment center
What started as the relocation of an existing trampoline park evolved into a complete family entertainment destination in Málaga. In collaboration with sister company SPI Global Play, Sidijk transformed Altitude Málaga into a multi activity leisure venue where families of all ages can play, celebrate, relax and stay longer.
By reusing the original trampoline park materials, the existing park was given a completely new life at the new location. The concept was expanded with themed attractions, party rooms and hospitality areas, creating a future ready indoor leisure destination for the whole family.
Bigger ambitions than a new location
Altitude wanted more than a new location. Their goal was to evolve from a standalone trampoline park into a complete entertainment experience with a broader target audience and stronger business potential.
One of the key requirements was reusing the existing trampoline park from the former location. The complete park had to be dismantled, transported and rebuilt in a completely new layout inside a larger venue. At the same time, the client wanted one experienced partner to manage the construction process, project coordination and concept realization from start to finish.
The challenge was not only technical. The new location needed to increase visitor capacity, extend dwell time and create more opportunities for cross selling and pay to play activities, while still delivering a clear and immersive identity throughout the entire venue.
Creating one connected family entertainment center experience
Together with SPI Global Play, Sidijk developed and delivered a complete family entertainment concept with a strong jungle theme integrated throughout the park. The existing trampoline park was carefully dismantled and rebuilt in a completely new configuration, optimized for the available space and visitor flow. During the construction phase, several layout challenges appeared. By adapting the floorplan and construction strategy during the process, the available space was utilized more efficiently, which even created room for two additional themed party rooms.
Beyond the trampoline park, Sidijk realized a wide range of attractions and functional areas, including:
- A jungle themed glow golf experience
- A large themed indoor playground
- A ‘Beat the Matrix’ interactive floor
- Five fully themed party rooms
- A jungle themed reception and hospitality area
- Construction work for kitchens, toilets, storage rooms, offices and staff areas
- Complete wall art, seating areas, furniture and thematic finishing throughout the venue
Every area was designed to contribute to one connected visitor experience while supporting operational efficiency behind the scenes.
More visitors, longer stays, stronger results
The transformation immediately showed impact. During the opening weekend, Altitude Málaga welcomed more visitors than both the opening of their Madrid location and the original trampoline park at the previous venue.
The new concept successfully expanded the target audience by combining attractions for younger children, teenagers and adults in one location. The larger variety of activities also increased visitor stay time and created additional revenue opportunities through hospitality, party packages and interactive attractions.
Besides the commercial impact, the operational improvements were also noticeable. Staff responded positively to the improved layout of workspaces such as the kitchen and service areas, which now offer a more logical and efficient workflow.
