The Sidijk footbath is a smart and sustainable solution for hoof care in dairy cattle. During use, the hooves are cleaned and disinfected by the agent in the bath. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, this agent remains optimally protected against contamination, making it effective for longer. The footbath thus helps prevent infections and hoof problems, such as mortellaro and interdigital inflammation. What’s more, the bath is user-friendly, low-maintenance, and suitable for daily use on any dairy farm.

Hygienic and practical design

The footbath has a large contact surface, allowing the claws to be immersed on all sides. Thanks to its clever design, only a small amount of disinfectant needs to be added to the footbath. The protective topsheet keeps the disinfectant cleaner: dirt slides off when cows walk over it. This keeps the disinfectant effective for longer and reduces waste.

Easy to maintain

The bath is easy to fill, for example with a hose under the sheet, and easy to empty by tilting it to the side. The top sheet is easy to clean and, thanks to the modular design, parts can be replaced individually. This saves time, reduces maintenance, and extends the service life.

Made from sustainable materials

The foot bath is made from PP material: PFAS-free, non-toxic, and recyclable. Strong, safe, and environmentally friendly. Made to last, even with intensive use.

Developed in collaboration with Watter

The footbath was developed in collaboration with Watter, based on years of knowledge of microbiology, disinfection, and practical experience in dairy farming. The bath has been extensively tested by dairy farmers and optimized for use with Watter Disinfection Solutions (WDS): a safe, sustainable, and effective disinfectant. Together, they provide a hygienic and environmentally friendly approach to hoof care, without harmful substances.
